Adverse Media Reports

Each entity receives it's own report. If articles are found using the search criteria provided, each one will receive a status and a comment as to how the decision was reached.

Articles with a status of "false positive" are articles Evelyn determined were not negative due to a variety of reasons. For example, the entity is mentioned but is not focal, is a different age and/or the content is not negative with regard to financial crimes.

Articles with a status of "needs investigation" are articles which could not be ruled out as false positive by Evelyn alone. Think of Evelyn as a level one analyst who sometimes needs help if she isn't confident of her decision. She does not mark any articles as true positive, but rather escalates to a human team member to confirm and/or perform additional research.
